UTAH HIGH SCHOOL SELECTS - AMERICA SHOWCASE TEAM

The objective of America’s Showcase is to provide a highly competitive national event for those premier high school student-athletes who play for a USA Hockey registered high school & AAA team and to provide the opportunity for these premier players (who may not be traditionally scouted) to be seen by every major hockey program in the United States. 

America Showcase Team

BOYS ONLY 

The purpose of the "Utah Selects" team is to provide High School age players the oppertunity to attend a National Showcase for the purpose of moving players on to the next level. This team is made up of  Senior, Junior and up to 4 Sophomore players (coach discretion, as long as the Showcase allows). The Americas Showcase is a scouting event, providing players with the opportunity to be seen by Junior and College teams. This team will be made up of 18 skaters and 2 Goalies.  Participants will be required to attend ALL practices. Practices will be held on Sunday's. The America Showcase is an off season event providing an opportunity for all players regardless of the teams they played on during the season to attend.

The Format of this team is as follows: Tryouts will be held in January (dates TBD) ALL high School players are welcome, registration for tryouts will open in November. There will be two tryout sessions, and up to 4 practices in March and April leading up to the showcase. 

Commitments from prior years include the ACHA, NAHL, EHL, USPHL, MJHL, Na3HL and others. All players attending will be listed on the scouting report for all college and juniors teams.  

Team fees include: Air Travel to and from the showcase, transportation while in St Louis, all meals (except for travel days) hotel, team activities, team jacket and T-shirt
